Twenty years ago, a few young men flew over the Pacific Ocean and landed in Canada. In beautiful Vancouver, the men kept studying and working together through the years.
In 2005, their first Japanese restaurant, Kadoya was opened on Davie Street in Downtown Vancouver. With top-quality food, and outstanding service, Kadoya won many awards each year. The men then brought their delicious food to China and opened their Japanese Restaurant, Shotamuni, in Beijing. Today, they now have more than fifty Japanese Restaurants in China.
Although Kadoya operated for nearly 10 years, the men came to the conclusion that they weren’t able to grow further under the environment. Since then, after six years of preparation involving creating cooking skills of the Japanese cuisine, the men have decided to open Kazami Japanese Restaurant in the heart of Vancouver on Robson Street. The goal is to serve delicious, high quality food in a comfortable environment.
